Hey, I'm coming from out of town for a wedding. I'm getting in pretty early on a Friday afternoon. Any predominantly lesbian bars in Lancaster to hang out at on a Friday night? If you go to the Sundown, they will stare at you the whole time. It's the kind of place where if you are not a regular, they will look at you with suspicion.
I'd go to Belvedere, it's nice and the people are nice. Tally Ho is fun but more club-ish than local bar feeling. Just don't travel in any direction more than 10 minutes or you will be in God's country. Everyone here shitting on sundown feels like they have never been there.
Make an adventure out of your time here and try to visit multiple places on foot you can walk to most places in an evening without issue and you will have a good time. Adding to the other user's recommendations, the Belvedere and the bar above it are lgbtq friendly and have regular drag shows. The sundown lounge is definitely the most lesbian oriented bar in town, though it's somewhat divey. Never been to it but there is the sun down lounge. The Talley ho is more of a standard gay bar although older clientele.
The village and characters pub have lgbt themed nights occasionally.
Most lesbians I know frequent the local breweries like mad chef, lancaster brewing company and Wacker brewing. Lots of recommendations for Sundown.
Just wanted to say it's a smoking bar. I know that's a deal breaker for some. Found the internet! Queer bars.
