This role is able for leading a team to plan, create and manage campaigns to drive audiences to our biggest TV properties.
These campaigns are complex often with multiple phases of past season boxset catch-up, new season tease, launch and sustainand are multi-faceted across TV, OOH, Digital, Comms, and beyond, thus requiring a highly structured and organised approach to planning and team leadership. Stakeholder management will also be critical, as we operate in close partnership with other teams to deliver, most closely with an internal creative agency plus a media department; but also with Genre Directors, Programme Makers, and Talent, requiring deep skills of relationship building, influencing, listening, and problem solving.
This role le a medium sized team of circa marketing professionals to devise and deliver campaigns that help us to reach our biggest and broadest audiences. This involves working very closely with programming and content teams, in order to prioritise which content to market.
Ultimately to deliver against a marketing strategy that creates watching, listening and browsing habits. The role also involves managing the audience experience on the BBC One channel, including idents and other on-screen presentation of the BBC One brand. A strong digital marketing background is also important, alongside the ability to develop and define marketing strategiesand then execute brilliantly with strong tactical delivery and measurement of .
